Company’s Milestones

The Company was established with the name PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera by three founders, namely Mr. Joko Mogoginta, Mr. Budhi Istanto and the late Mr. Priyo Hadisutanto. Its main products were dried vermicelli and dried noodles.
In line with rising demand, in 1995 the Company established a factory in Karanganyar, Central Java, with seven production lines and the capacity of 30,000 tons per year.
The Company established a 25-Ha integrated food factory in Sragen, Central Java, to unite all production for future business development.
Production process was conducted in new factories at Sragen. Instant noodle production unit was established during the time, of which production and marketing process was implemented at early 2002.
  • The Company acquired ISO 9001:2000 certification.
  • The Company issued shares without Preemptive Rights with par value of Rp200 per share and Convertion Obligation of Rp60 billion.
The Company was listed as public company in Indonesia Stock Exchange through backdoor listing process, namely by acquiring PT Asia Inti Selera and conducted Limited Public Offering I with ticker code AISA. The Company changed its name to PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk (“TPSF”)
TPSF changed its logo in line with its vision and missions.
  • TPSF conducted Limited Public Offering II
  • TPSF acquired PMI which engaged in confectionaries, biscuits and snacks business.
  • TPSF acquired BRI, an oil palm plantation company in South Kalimantan to achieve opportunities in oil palm commodity.
  • TPSF acquired awards as The Best Issuer for Consumption Goods from Bisnis Indonesia Award 2008 and was listed in Indeks Kompas 100 in August 2008.
  • TPSF engaged in rice business by acquiring PT Dunia Pangan (“DP”), which engaged in rice trading, as well as acquiring rice factory PT Jatisari Srirejeki (“JSR”).
  • TPSF acquired 5 new palm oil plantation companies.
  • TPSF achieved Top 250 Indonesia Original Brand Award, Excellent Brand Award, 10 Best CEOs Award, and Most Improved IICD Good Corporate Governance Award.
  • TPSF divested 2 inactive Subsidiaries.
  • TPSF conducted Limited Public Offering III.
  • TPSF acquired factories and brand owned by PT Alam Makmur Sembada, which was then became an asset for PT Indo Beras Unggul.
  • TPSF through PT Balaraja Bisco Paloma (“BBP”) acquired biscuit production factory in Balaraja Tangerang.
  • TPSF acquired “Taro” brand snack and the production facility from PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk.
  • TPSF through its Subsidiary PT Bumiraya Investindo conducted join venture with Bunge Agribusiness Singapore Pte Ltd.
TPSF acquired PT Subafood Pangan Jaya under TPS Food and acquired PT Sukses Abadi Karya Inti under TPS Rice and PT Tandan Abadi Mandiri under TPS Palm Oil.
  • The Company issued TPS Food Bonds I Year 2013 valued Rp600 billion and TPS Food Sukuk Ijarah I Year 2013 valued Rp300 billion.
  • The Company’s controlling shareholders sold 9.5% of shares in AISA to a leading global investment company, KKR & Co.L.P. Pursuant to the transaction, 1 representative from KKR joined TPSF Board of Commissioners.
  • The completion of crude palm oil (CPO) manufacturing mill with the capacity of 30 tons of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) per hour.
  • The development of production facility for Basic Food category, namely dry noodle, with improvement of up to 1,000 tons per month for production capacity.
  • The Company conducted Capital Increase Without Preemptive Rights (PMTHMETD)by issuing new shares from portfolio of 292,600,000 (two hundred ninety two million six hundred thousand) shares with par value of Rp200 per share and PMTHMETD issuance price of Rp2,250 per share.
  • The inauguration of PT Sukses Abadi Karya Inti rice factory in Central Java. The factory has a production capacity of 240,000 tons per year.
  • The Company acquired share ownership of PT Golden Plantation (“GP”), which was aimed to made GP a sub-holding company in Indonesia Stock Exchange with ticker code GOLL on December 23, 2014.
  • The Company through PT Golden Plantation acquired PT Persada Alam Hijau (“PAH”)
  • The Company through PT DUnia Pangan established PT Tani Unggul Usaha (“TUU”) and PT Swasembada Tani Selebes (“STS”).
  • The Company through PT Golden Plantation Tbk acquired PT Bailangu Capital Investmnet (“BCI”).
  • The Company’s Subsidiary in Food Division, PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera, acquired ISO 14001:2004 Certified issued by Integrated Laboratory-IPB Environmental Management System Assurance (ILEA-IPB).
  • The Company’s Subsdiary in Food Division, PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera, acquired OHSAS 18001:2007 Certificate issued by URS (United Registrar Systems) Certification
  • The Company sold 2,864,990,000 shares or 78.17% of its shares in PT Golden Plantation Tbk to PT JOM Prawarsa Indonesia.
  • The Company inaugurated power plant of PT Patra Power Nusantara.
  • The Company inaugurated Unit 5 factory of PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera to be operated as a facility to produce Bihunku instant vermicelli.
  • The Company issued TPS Food Sukuk Ijarah II Year 2016 with the Remaining Ijarah Fee amounting to Rp1,200,000,000,000 (one trillion two hundred billion Rupiah).
  • A subsidiary in Food Division, namely PT Putra Taro Paloma, obtained ISO 22000:2009 and HACCP Certifications issued by the Integrated Laboratory of Bogor Agricultural University (ILFA-IPB) and Certification Quality of National Accreditation Committee for Taro and Bravo brands.
  • The Company launched Mitra Usaha Maknyuss (MUM) with delivery concept.
  • The Company implemented Sales Force Automation, a sales application running on smartphone and tablet platforms.
  • TPS Hymn titled “Cita-cita TPS” was introduced and sung for the first time by TPSF people.
